The system integrates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Growth and starvation raceway ponds, designed to maximise mixing, photosynthetic efficiency, and lipid accumulation<\/li>\n<li>Green Wall Panels for the inoculum phase<\/li>\n<li>CO\u2082 supply, recirculation, and ultrafiltration systems, with series centrifuges for final harvesting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BIOFAT represents a fully integrated platform, replicable at industrial scale.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ALGAEFUEL (La Tirana, Chile) \u2013 Full-scale Microalgae Plant for Biofuel Production<\/strong><br \/>\nSPIKE also designed the entire microalgae facility in La Tirana (Iquique), built for AlgaeFuels Biotechnology. The project includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three stages of raceway ponds (P1\u2013P3), each exceeding 500 m\u00b2<\/li>\n<li>Vertical GWP photobioreactors<\/li>\n<li>Operating areas for cooling, sterilisation, and harvesting<\/li>\n<li>CO\u2082 and water management optimised for desert climate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The overall layout was designed to achieve a compact and efficient configuration, suitable for continuous operation and low energy
