Boiler plants, chiller plants, and water systems
Projects often involved the construction or complete refurbishment of boiler plants and chiller plants serving complex healthcare facilities. Activities included high-efficiency heat generators, chillers with thermal storage, hydronic distribution networks, advanced control systems, and functional separation of circuits serving different areas. A significant scope also concerned plumbing and water systems, including water plants, domestic hot water production and distribution systems, recirculation networks, and drainage systems, with particular attention to hygienic and sanitary requirements and continuity of supply.
Electrical systems, special systems, and power continuity
In the hospital sector, Spike Renewables developed integrated interventions on electrical and special systems, including distribution switchboards, MV/LV substations, essential and critical power supply networks, and standby generator sets. The designed solutions ensure high levels of reliability and protection selectivity, guaranteeing power continuity to critical users even in the event of faults or grid interruptions. Emergency lighting systems, fire detection, voice alarm systems, nurse call systems, data networks, and supervision systems were also integrated, following a coordinated, system-wide design approach.
